Run the lessons with a group.

A free 20-minute session plan for job centers, workforce programs, libraries and adult education. No sign-up, no fee, and nothing about your participants comes to us.

What you need

  • One lesson that fits the group. Print it from the lesson page for a clean one-sheet, or show it on a screen.
  • Optional: phones or computers with Claude (it has a free plan at claude.ai) or the AI tool your program already provides. The session also works on paper.
  • Made-up details for practice. Participants never use real customers, patients, students or coworkers.

The 20-minute plan

  1. 0 to 3 min

    Why it matters

Ask who has used an AI tool at work. Say the one rule out loud: you bring the facts, and you check what it adds.

  2. 3 to 6 min

    What never goes in

Read the never-list from the lesson together. Ask for one example from their own job of something that must stay out.

  3. 6 to 13 min

    Spot the problem

Show the worked example from the lesson. Read the notes, then the AI's draft. Ask the group to find what the AI added before you reveal the answer.

  4. 13 to 18 min

    Try the quick win

Everyone fills in the first prompt with made-up details and tries it in Claude or the tool your program provides. Or do it on paper with the printed lesson.

  5. 18 to 20 min

    Check and keep

Read the lesson's checklist. Each person names one place they would use this on their next shift.

Ground rules

  • No certificates. Finishing a lesson is practice, not a qualification, and nobody should list it as one.
  • No real personal details in any prompt, on screen or on paper.
  • Practice is not work experience. A resume line comes only from something a person actually did at work.
  • For safety questions (driving, food safety, clinical care, electrical code), the lesson points to the real authority. AI never decides them.
