The job feed

How this feed is sourced.

Every listing is read from a company's own hiring system: the board the company itself publishes, re-read on that board's own schedule, linking straight to their posting. No aggregator in between, no re-hosted apply, no promoted placements. When a board stops answering with a posting, we record it as delisted and retire it instead of letting it linger.

The schedule is a range, not a number. A board is re-read as often as every 15 minutes and never less often than every twelve hours: the four largest families carry the 15-minute floor, the rest start hourly, and a board that keeps returning the same postings is checked less often until it changes.

The strategy is depth over scrape: a curated, growing roster of companies whose boards we read properly, rather than a crawl of everything that decays into duplicates and dead links. We keep adding integrations; the counts below move as the roster and the boards do.

The systems we read

Postings come from the companies' own instances of these hiring platforms, with 984 companies currently listing. Federal roles come from the USAJOBS search API and always link back to usajobs.gov.

Delisting counts come from our own observation ledger: a posting is recorded as gone only when its board answered a fetch without it.
